How long does castle crashers last

The main game isn't super long, you could probably beat it in a few hours your first time. Beating the game unlocks Insane Mode for that character which increases enemy health and damage so that's some more fun if you choose to do it.

If you wanted to unlock everything then you'd have to beat the game multiple times with different characters too. Story might take you 3 or 4 hours, insane mode might take you hours. Complete List Of Animal Orbs. How do i magic jump? I didn't unlock a new character? Best Weapon In The Game? Co-Op is alsmost a requirement. It's a fun beat-em-up and many's childhood. I will say I hate being stunlocked, and it's especially bad when enemies continuously fire arrows.

Can probably have a lot of fun with a friend though. Very fun to enjoy in small bursts, but I couldn't imagine trying to get even more out of it. The graphics are bad and it's repetitive. Considering there's no real dialogue, this game has a lot of humorous moments with all the stupid shit that happens, like a sharting deer or getting roided up on sandwiches.

Playing with a controller is recommended, and playing with a friend is sure to give you some hearty laughs. It's a decent little button masher with "lol random" grossout humor that is fortunately never so pronounced it feels trashy. The levels have a pretty good variety of enemies, mechanics, and visuals, so it never got stale.

At the same time, "pretty good" is not "great," and I found myself getting annoyed with just how spongy the enemies were, even with maxed stats and weapons. It often feels like throwing marbles to try and break a brick. The arena's are very difficult but a welcome challenge, the campaign is fun and varied and the combat is simple but enjoyable. Not my main cup of tea in terms of genre, however very worth a playthrough with friends. One of the best coop experiences ever created, and came out at the perfect time where coop on Xbox was becoming quick and easy to drop in.

Can be difficult. It boils down to mashing buttons until your enemies are dead. There's also magic, which adds a small variety to it. I've played loads of 2D beat 'em ups, a few of them is Turtles in Time, Maximum Carnage and Streets of Rage but Castle Crasher isn't as fun as those games, as it lacks something which I can't put my finger on. Story It works for a 2D beat 'em up, I suppose.

Presentation The art style reminds me a lot of old games from Newgrounds, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It looks very nice, one of the things that made me want to play it. On top of that, the soundtrack is fantastic, my favorite being from a boss in the final level. However, the game is very buggy.
